A COLABORATION X W/ MONEY
The main component of this artwork is Pick 4 lottery tickets. This medium represents a material that people use frequently by filling in a sequence of numbers hoping to win a monetary prize by chance within a structured game of odds. The artist uses this same material in a different way, by creating an artwork that can be sold for monetary value new rules are created outside of the structured game. By giving this material a new creative purpose the artist attempts to take control of "luck" rather than simply hoping that the odds are auspicious. With the exception of the recycled wood and paint all materials were sourced from 7-11. There was no monetary cost in the making of this art, therefore the odds of making a profit seem high.
